Pulseline offers Alaska heli skiing trip packages based out of Valdez and beyond that cater to intermediate to professional skiers and snowboarders. Our seasoned Alaska guides will lead you through stunning Alaska terrain with untracked powder snow, breathtaking glaciers, and awe-inspiring mountain vistas. Relax and recharge back in Valdez with excellent accommodations and delicious cuisine.
Freeskier Alaska Heliskiing and Heliboarding
This is our flagship guided heliskiing program in Alaska's Chugach Mountains surrounding Valdez and Prince William Sound. We crafted the Freeskier program to streamline and maximize your Alaska heliskiing adventure. We offer 5 and 7-day options that incoude lodging at the Totem Hotel & Suites in Valdez, breakfast and lunches each day, catered dinners, safety equipment, ground shuttle in Valdez, and select down day activities (e.g. backcountry touring). You will share the helicopter with 3 or 4 other ski groups.
Heli-Assisted Backcountry Ski Touring
This program is focused on human-powered touring - with a little help from the helicopter. These packages include 1.5 Hobbs hours. Some days will be human powered after a ground shuttle drop. Other days, you may access terrain by helicopter and then throw on skins for the ascent and earn your turns. You may exit the mountains by helicopter or ski to a road for shuttle pick up. In all cases, you’ll be alpine touring or splitboarding amongst towering peaks, glaciers, and the world’s deepest snowpack - nothing compares for intrepid AT and splitboard enthusiasts.
Experts-Only Heliskiing/Heliboarding Week
March 29 to April 4, 2026 is reserved specifically for expert-level and above skiers and riders. Whether you're a group or booking as a single, rest assured that everyone sharing the helicopter will be seeking steeper, deeper, more technical Alaska terrain. Prerequisites for booking: expert-level and above skiing and snowboarding skills; high-level of fitness & endurance; able to confidently ski or ride slopes greater than 45 degrees and variable snow conditions; a desire to access and descend technical terrain; and no fear of getting out of the helicopter on technical landing zones and/or "toe-ins."
Women’s Alaska Big Mountain Ski and Ride Camp
Join forces with other badass women and step into big-mountain Alaska riding in a supportive and approachable all-female environment. Meet new friends and enjoy bonding with other female riders who share the same passions for mountains, untracked snow, and new challenges. Gain confidence in your skiing and snowboarding ability with personalized coaching and mentorship from veteran female heli-ski guides including AMGA Certified Ski & Alpine Guide and Freeskiing Champion Jess Baker.
Fly-in Alaska Backcountry Touring Camp
Experience backcountry splitboard & ski touring in its wildest form! You'll spend a week camped on a remote Alaskan glacier deep in the Chugach Mountains while choosing lines to ascend and ride from basecamp. Fly in a bush plane or helicopter out to an unforgettably majestic location in one of Alaska's most iconic mountain ranges - the Chugach. On this trip, you will be guided by seasoned Alaska guides to climb and ride amazing lines. You will earn the best turns of your life and appreciate the needed rejuvenation that the mountains will graciously provide.
Private Alaska Heliskiing & Heliboarding
A full private heliski package offers more freedom to utilize your flight time how you see fit. With generally fewer fuel runs than our non-private groups, we can often fly you deeper into the prime zones more efficiently. Private groups have more potential to fly to the limits of our operating zones and return without refueling or with minimal fuel runs. The helicopter waits at the bottom of each run for your private group, so the pace is up to you and the weather/snow conditions.
